This listing is for Simplicity Sewing Pattern 8249, 1940’s vintage design floor length gown and day length dresses for misses sizes 14 – 22. This pattern is in very good, uncut condition and no longer in stores. Instructions are in English and French. Includes the patterns and instructions to make the dresses as shown with gathers at the hip and bodice and diagonal seaming with short of long sleeves. Suggested fabrics include challis, crepe, faille, jacquard, lame, satin and silks. This pattern was taken from the original 1940’s design and updated to modern sizing.
